June 7, 2007 - Dublin, Ireland - The Ireland France Chamber of Commerce has presented its prestigious Annual Award to Norkom Technologies in a ceremony at the Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club, Dublin.

The award is made by the Ireland France Chamber of Commerce to a company or organisation which, in the opinion of the Council, has made an outstanding contribution towards promoting bilateral trade between Ireland and France. The award is sponsored by Enterprise Ireland.

Award winner Norkom Technologies is a leading provider of financial crime and compliance solutions to the global financial services industry. Its software enables organizations to detect and combat financial crime, reducing their operational losses, and addressing the industry’s ever-changing compliance and regulatory requirements.

In 2006, Norkom Technologies signed contracts with two major players in the French financial and banking industry: Crédit Agricole and Natixis. The award underlines Norkom’s ability to win business in international markets, based on their strong track record in implementing highly effective as well as fully scaleable financial crime and compliance solutions.

The Ireland France Chamber of Commerce is the third largest bilateral trade association in Ireland. The Chamber promotes the expansion of trade and business links between Ireland and France. It is the first time that the Chamber combines its Annual Award ceremony with its traditional Club des Affaires, which acts as an excellent platform for networking in both business communities.
