June 19, 2007 - Dublin, Ireland - A survey of leading financial institutions across North America, Europe and Asia, carried out by one of the industry’s most respected publications, OpRisk & Compliance, has named Norkom as the world’s number one provider of both anti-money laundering and anti-fraud software solutions.

OpRisk & Compliance’s editor, Ellen Davis, confirms that, intensifying regulatory scrutiny and increasing incidences of fraud is making financial crime and compliance a top priority for financial institutions and that the pressure is on for vendors to deliver innovative solutions that aid compliance but also provide an effective defence against an increasingly sophisticated criminal threat.
