Board of Directors

Our Board members have extensive experience in building and managing multi million dollar businesses. They advise the executive team on strategic direction and support its delivery.

Shane Reihill - Chairman

A member of the Board since January 2000, Shane is the chairman and founder of Trinity Venture Capital and Hibernia Capital Partners, with €240m under management. He is the former joint chief executive officer of Tedcastle Holdings Limited and worked for a number of years at Dillon Road Investment Bank in New York. Shane holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Shane is also chairman of Norkom's nomination committee.

Paul Kerley - Chief Executive Officer

Paul has a 20-year track record of successfully building and leading entrepreneurial businesses. Before founding Norkom in 1998, Paul held senior roles with Capgemini, Amdahl Corporation and System Industries. He is a graduate of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology and the College of Commerce, Dublin, Ireland.

Paul is also a member of Norkom's nomination committee.

Cecil Hayes - Chief Operations Officer

Cecil is responsible for maintaining Norkom's rapid growth and guiding its ongoing development through the successful delivery of Norkom's operating plans. Previously Cecil has held senior operational and financial management positions, most recently in the financial services and technology sectors, including ten years as finance director of two publicly quoted companies. Cecil is chairman of Vivas Health, a recent entrant to the Irish Health Insurance market.

Liam Davis - Company Secretary

Liam has been with Norkom since 1998 and is a key member of the senior management team. As director of finance, he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s finance function, with specific responsibility for financial reporting, group taxation, business planning and working capital management. Liam holds a bachelor’s degree in business studies and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Kieran Nagle - Non-Executive Director

Kieran joined the Board in June 2004 and has over 34 years' international experience in the IT sector. A founder director of Kindle - a financial services software company - Kieran then became chairman and CEO of Kindle Banking Systems, part of the larger Misys plc group, playing a key role in its successful organic and acquisitive growth.

Kieran is also chairman of Norkom's audit committee.

Gavin O'Reilly - Non-Executive Director

A Board member since April 2000, Gavin has been chief executive (Ireland) of Independent News & Media PLC and was recently appointed COO of the Independent News and Media Group's worldwide operations. He is also chairman of the National Newspapers of Ireland. Gavin was educated at Georgetown University Business School.

Gavin is also a member of Norkom's nomination and remuneration committees.

Luc Philips - Non-Executive Director

Luc joined the Board in 2005. He is a Director of KBC Group NV, ranked as one of Europe’s top ten financial services organizations with a market capitalization of €21 billion. He contributes extensive financial services expertise from a wide range of senior roles at Almanij, KBC Group, KBC Bank and KB Luxemburg where he serves as chairman of the Audit Committee. In addition Luc chairs the Board of KBC Insurance.

Luc is also a member of Norkom's audit and remuneration committees.

John Tracey - Non-Executive Director

A Board member since August 1999, John is chief executive of Trinity Venture Capital, with €160m currently under management. A qualified engineer, John spent four years in the electronics industry then three years in consultancy with Deloitte and Touche. He later became investment director at ICC Venture Capital. John is also a past chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association.

John is also chairman of Norkom's remuneration committee and a member of the audit committee.
