Norkom’s senior management team is comprised of experienced professionals whose mission is to manage and grow Norkom's leadership position across all our markets and products. They are tasked with supporting our clients and providing a solid return on investment for our shareholders.
The Americas
Joe's role is to lead the continued growth of Norkom in the Americas, with direct responsibility for sales, revenue and profit as well as managing the multi-discipline team based in North America. He contributes over 20 years of experience in application software sales, marketing and professional services. Joe holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts.
Steven is responsible for the overall management and development of the North American services function, including program delivery, project review and coaching, revenue forecasting, escalation management and personnel management, as well as supporting the region’s business development teams. Previously, Steven worked in the capacity of project manager for Philips ITCL and Data4S. A frequent speaker on financial crime and compliance technologies, Steven has a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
Stan is responsible for the architecture and rollout of the Norkom platform, as well as driving the strategy around Norkom’s product innovation cycles. Stan was previously Chief Technology Officer and founding member of Data4S Technologies NV, which was acquired by Norkom in 2004. With 10 years' experience in the financial technology arena, particularly in the delivery of large-scale software solutions for global financial institutions, Stan’s skill-sets include embracing an alphabet soup of technologies and development processes. Currently based in Boston, MA, Stan holds a MSc. in electronic engineering from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
David provides leadership for Norkom’s development and delivery of industry leading financial crime solutions. He brings more than 20 years’ experience providing financial crime and risk management expertise to global financial services firms. A frequent speaker at international conferences, David was previously Director of Fraud and AML Solutions in BearingPoint's financial services practice. Before that, he spent ten years at the Bank of Montreal, where he established and ran the bank's Fraud Containment Strategies Group. A certified management consultant, David holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics.
Austin Wells – Head of Global Product Management With overall responsibility of Norkom’s product and solution portfolio, Austin has cultivated a deep expertise in helping global financial institutions enhance the effectiveness and efficiencies of their enterprise-wide financial crime investigations. He joined Norkom from its acquisition of US-based Digital Harbor, where he held the position of VP of Product Management and Marketing. He has also held positions in Brio Technologies and Andersen Consulting / Accenture. Austin holds a BA with Honors from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
