 Brendan Walsh, Head of Sales - Middle East, South Africa, UK and Ireland
With over 15 years’ experience in financial services, Brendan Walsh is responsible for driving sales and revenues in financial crime and compliance in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and South Africa. Prior to joining Norkom, Brendan was Regional Sales Manager for the MENA region with Trintech, a provider of financial governance and transaction risk management solutions. Before that, Brendan also work with Misys, a global provider of core banking solutions, in various roles including Software Development, Customer Support, Sales Support and Sales. Brendan holds an Honor’s degree in Economics from University College Dublin (UCD), a Marketing diploma from the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science from Athlone Institute of Technology.
 Geraldine Gibson, Head of Services - UK and Ireland
Geraldine is responsible for the management of the professional services team in the delivery of Norkom’s suite of financial crime and compliance applications to clients in the UK and Ireland. With over 12 years’ experience working in technology consulting, Geraldine joined Norkom from the proprietary trading arm of the Susquehanna International Group. She also worked in senior consulting roles in ORACLE and ICL. Geraldine holds a MBA from the Smurfit School of Business, UCD; a postgraduate diploma in Technology Management from NITM, UCD; a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology from NUI; and a Master’s in History from TCD and the Sorbonne Paris IV.
 Dan Murphy, Head of Services - Middle East, South Africa and International
Having joined Norkom in 2005, Dan is responsible for the delivery of Norkom’s financial crime and compliance solutions by the professional services team for international regions, including the Middle East and South Africa. Dan has devoted his career to working in the financial technology industry, specifically in the area of implementation. He joined Norkom from Orbiscom, where he was Implementation Manager, responsible for the delivery of credit card payment solutions. Prior to that, he spent eight years with Misys as a principal consultant, implementing its core banking solution. Dan holds a degree in business studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Master’s in Computer Science and Applications from Queen’s University, Belfast.
