Norkom Group plc ('Norkom' or the 'Company')

Norkom received notifications on the 31st July 2006 that Allied Irish Banks plc ('AIB') and its subsidiaries held, as at 24th July 2006, 2,565,666 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company, representing 3.18% of the total issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The interest of 2,565,666 ordinary shares of €0.01 each consisted of: (i) 160,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each held by Bank of New York Nominees Limited (ii) 2,129,384 ordinary shares of €0.01 each held by Goodbody Stockbrokers Nominees Limited (iii) 276,282 ordinary shares of €0.01 each held by Skerries Nominees Limited.
